St. Julian Winery
& Distillery

Michigan's oldest, largest, and most-awarded winery — seven minutes from your front door.

Founded in 1921 by Mariano Meconi, St. Julian has been making wine in Paw Paw for over a century. Today it's the longest continuously operating winery in Michigan — and one of the most decorated, taking home 22 medals at the 2026 Michigan Governor's Cup Awards alone.

Their wines are made exclusively from grapes grown in the Lake Michigan Shore Appellation. The range runs from internationally recognized dry reds to small-batch sweet wines, craft-distilled spirits, and hard ciders. For groups staying at The Hive, St. Julian is the perfect afternoon out — book an enhanced winery tour, do a barrel tasting, then pick up a few bottles for the firepit that night.
